Touro University California's celebrated the grand opening of the Metabolic Research Center (MRC) in January 2016. 

With the purpose of serving the university research community, the MRC provides clinical and laboratory services to support investigators conducting clinical research studies on metabolic diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease.
